On November 2, 2018, Mr. Pablo Traub, Vice Chairman of the Chilean Venture Capital Association, and Mr. Matias Soffia, Partner of the well-known venture capital institution Manutara Ventures, visited the Zhongguancun Equity Investment Association, exchanges with Secretary Lin Lin and Deputy Secretary-General Chang Yanli on cooperation between China and Chile and the Latin American equity investment industry.
The two associations have reached a daily communication mechanism and cooperation links between the two sides' official websites to carry out necessary exchanges and communication for further strategic cooperation. The two sides hope to use Chile as a bridge to promote Chinese entrepreneurs' awareness of Latin American countries and jointly contribute to the development cooperation of Latin American markets. Mr. Traub expressed his welcome to ZVCA members to establish investment cooperation with Chile, and hopes to connect Chilean quality enterprises to Chinese enterprises through the association. During the talks, Secretary-General Lin invited Mr. Traub and Mr. Soffia to participate in the 7th “Innovation and Capital Forum in the International Perspective” to be held in Beijing on January 22, 2019. And through them, ZVCAwelcome more Latin American companies and institutions to attend the conference in China.
